Creating resources on the Capacity4dev platform is an excellent way to share valuable information, promote knowledge exchange, and foster professional growth among international cooperation professionals. Step 1: Log in to Your Capacity4dev Account

Ensure that you are logged in to your Capacity4dev account. If you do not have an account yet, register for one and complete the verification process.

Step 2: Access the "Create a Resource" Page

  1. Navigate to the Capacity4dev homepage.
  2. Click on the "Browse Content" section.
  3. Select "Resources."
  4. In the top right corner, click on "Create Resource."

Step 3: Fill Out the Resource Creation Form

Complete the Resource creation form by providing the necessary information in each category:

  1. Resource Title: Enter a unique and descriptive title for your resource.
  2. Resource Description: Add a description to explain what your resource is about and its significance to the community. This description will appear on your resource's page.
  3. Resource Tags: Select relevant topics and countries to categorize your resource and make it easier for users to find.
  4. Resource Thumbnail: Add a thumbnail image (size: 48 x 48 pixels | max size: 512 KB) that will be displayed on all list views, search results, and related resources.
  5. Resource Banner: Add a banner image (size: 447 x 270 pixels | max size: 512 KB) that will be displayed inside your resource.
  6. Resource Visibility: Choose if your resource should be public or restricted determining who can access it.

Step 4: Submit Your Resource for Review

  1. Write a message to Site Administrator with your motivation and objective to support the approval of the Resource.
  2. After completing the Resource creation form, click the "Save changes" button.
  3. Once your resource has been reviewed by the Site Admin you will receive a notification informing you of their decision.
